24 August 2026, Nuenen, the Netherlands — In the first semester of 2026, three vocational schools in Denmark surveyed students and teachers to evaluate their experiences with Electude, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish best practices for using the learning platform and training aids.
In total, 26 teachers and 239 students from TEC (Technical Education Copenhagen), HEG Himmerland, and Hansenberg participated through surveys or focus group interviews. Their feedback provided insights into how Electude has been implemented and how it has been supporting teaching and learning across different schools and programmes.
Overall positive evaluations
Overall, students and teachers from all three schools evaluated Electude positively. Weighted averages of the combined results from all three schools show that 87% of participants agreed that Electude supported students’ understanding, while 70% said it supported independent learning. Most respondents also agreed that Electude was easy to use and helped connect theory with practice.
Across the different schools and groups, Electude’s visual and interactive content emerged as one of its strongest features, with images, animations, and simulations being particularly valued by students and teachers alike. Electude Connect was also rated positively by both groups.
Strongest features: visual resources, simulations, and Connect
Student feedback showed a clear preference for visual and interactive learning resources, such as visual content and physical training aids.
In the student survey conducted by TEC:
- 88.7% agreed that Electude’s images and animations helped them understand the subject matter better
- 83% agreed that Electude Connect trainers made it easier to understand what they were working with
- 77.6% agreed that the simulations connected lessons and exercises more closely to real-life situations
Students at HEG Himmerland also identified images, videos, and interactive elements as some of Electude’s strongest features.
TEC instructors highlighted Electude’s ability to create a coherent pathway from theory to practice. According to the teachers, this worked particularly well when students first explored concepts through images and animations and then applied their knowledge using the e-workshop and physical training aids.
The instructors considered the combination of digital learning and physical equipment well-structured and effective. They also reported that the hardware and e-workshop activities generated particularly strong student engagement.
I see high motivation when they use the hardware. Connecting the wires, taking measurements, and entering the results into the software: they are quite motivated there.

Students consider Electude helpful
Across all three schools, students reported that Electude supported subject understanding and independent learning.
Over 80% of TEC students agreed that Electude made subjects easier to understand, and nearly 70% felt that they became more competent or gained greater knowledge of electrification.
At HEG Himmerland, 91% of participating students agreed or strongly agreed that Electude supported better understanding.
Most students at the three schools also felt that Electude had helped them improve their ability to work independently.
TEC and HEG Himmerland, which used Electude Connect alongside the learning platform, particularly highlighted the stronger connection between theory and practice. Students also reported feeling better prepared for practical exercises.
Best practices
Electude is a supplement, not a teacher replacement
The feedback from TEC reinforced an important principle: teachers are essential and irreplaceable. Electude’s solutions support teachers and students, but do not replace the essential relationship between them.
The focus group interviews showed that instructors introduced Electude in different ways but gradually moved towards integrating it with other teaching methods. They found that the platform worked best alongside teacher-led explanations, classroom dialogue, and workshop activities, rather than as a standalone solution.
One instructor in the Heavy Vehicle Main Programme explained that he alternates between presentations and Electude usage to keep students engaged.
I have changed my theory teaching. I give shorter presentations and use Electude for theoretical knowledge. It has changed how I teach.

Adapting the approach to different learners
Teachers in the basic programmes particularly emphasised that their students needed close guidance and strong teacher-student relationships.
Comparisons between the groups surveyed at different points in the semester, together with student feedback, suggested that basic programme students were generally less comfortable working independently and needed more teacher-led instruction.
Gradually introducing Electude during the basic programme could help students become familiar with the platform before progressing to the main programme. This may prepare them to work more independently at later stages of their education.
Several main programme instructors also expressed interest in seeing the longer-term effects of receiving students who were already accustomed to using Electude.
About the surveys
The surveys were conducted by three Danish vocational schools between March and June 2026.
HEG Himmerland, located in Aars, surveyed 46 students and seven teachers from two basic programmes (GF2): Construction Equipment Mechanics and Light Vehicle Mechanics. The quantitative and qualitative surveys were conducted in June after the school had used Electude Inspire and Connect for 20 weeks. The figures presented here are based on the quantitative survey, which was completed by students only.
Hansenberg, located in Kolding, conducted a shorter qualitative survey with 14 students from its basic programme (GF2) for Car Mechanics. The school has been using Electude Inspire for a year, without Connect trainers.
TEC, one of Denmark’s largest vocational training schools, has used Electude Inspire and Connect since the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year. The school surveyed 179 students and 19 teachers from three programmes: Basic Programme (GF2), Heavy Vehicle Main Programme, and Light Vehicle Main Programme. Students completed quantitative and qualitative surveys between March and June 2026, whereas teachers participated in focus group interviews in June.
Supporting a connected learning experience
The findings show that Electude can make a valuable contribution to vocational education when it is thoughtfully integrated into teaching. Visual resources and simulations help students explore technical concepts, while Connect training aids allow them to apply their knowledge through practical activities.
The surveys also underline that successful implementation depends on the needs of each student group. Some learners are ready to work independently, while others benefit from more guidance, explanation, and gradual familiarisation with the platform.
