This is a practical step that complements the company’s broader efforts to reduce carbon emissions, including its focus on sustainable travel. By taking responsibility for the emissions that cannot yet be avoided, Electude aims to reduce its environmental impact, support climate action, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Why Regreener?
Through its partnership with Regreener, Electude is able to support tree-planting projects that help absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere while contributing to wider ecosystem restoration.
Regreener is a leading carbon credit supplier known for its science-backed climate action and its commitment to transparency and measurable impact. It complies with scientific standards and EU targets, and ensures reliable results by assessing projects against more than 200 data points.
In addition, Regreener supports a holistic ecosystem restoration, selecting projects that offer the highest return for both people and nature. Through this collaboration, Electude is not only able to offset carbon emissions but also contribute to biodiversity restoration and employment opportunities in local communities.
Our impact
Through Electude’s dashboard on Regreener’s portal, anyone can track the impact made so far. To date, Electude has planted 320 trees in the Netherlands to offset emissions from activities such as school visits, team gatherings, and conference participation. The company has also planted trees as a reward for teachers who completed surveys, enabling educators to be a part of this sustainability initiative.
These trees represent 32 tons of CO2 compensated, which is equivalent to 167,520 km driven by a gasoline car, 11 return trips between Barcelona and New York, or the annual energy use of 4 households.
This project reflects Electude’s broader commitment to responsible growth. While the company remains committed to reducing its environmental footprint in other ways, this project provides an immediate and practical way to take action today in support of climate action and sustainable progress.
