Attendees will learn how to quickly access Electude modules during lectures and put Electude’s presentation tool to use in an engaging and enlightening way. Real examples will be given of presentations for tools, lifts, oil change, transmissions and brakes. Recent enhancements to the Electude presentation tool make it easy to use for anyone teaching in a fully online or hybrid environment. This webinar will be brief and allow time for questions and discussion by participants. This webinar is a part of a series of webinars Electude is holding in order to focus upon helping Electude adopters put Electude’s features to work and enhance delivery of instruction.

Teaching remotely or hybrid presents many challenges for automotive teachers. Enhancing online sessions can be lots of work and involve complicated technology. However, Electude can be used – as-is — to make presentations more interesting, interactive and productive. This webinar will demonstrate a small selection of methods that you can easily adapt for your own instruction.
In this webinar, attendees will first learn how to use Electude in-class lecture in order to review a prior day’s assignment (modules), including conducting question-and answer sessions and taking quizzes, and transition into the new assigned content.
Next, we will Demonstrate 3 methods to engage virtual and hybrid students using Electude:
- Sharing a screen – using the teacher’s screen to work through Electude lesson modules
- Teacher models task, students performance tasks
- Teacher introduces a module with Present mode and then students complete it independently or in groups.
We will carefully demonstrate all of these presentation methods. Our featured speaker has spent the last year incorporating these simple methods into his automotive classes with good results and is anxious to share with other. Also, we will save plenty of time for discussion and answer any questions you may have.

This webinar will demonstrate how to build interactive instructional videos and use them inside Electude’s DIY tool. Rather than relying upon live demonstrations, we will show attendees how tasks may be demonstrated using videos and pre-prepared questions. We will also demonstrate how Electude makes it easy to take a video of your choice and add review questions you create for your students. We’ll show how you can track your student use, progress and comprehension and make this an integral part of your instruction.
