What a Year! Here’s What Happened in 2025

10 December 2025, Nuenen, the Netherlands — As we look back at 2025, one thing is clear: it’s been an eventful year for Electude. From celebrating our 35th anniversary and unveiling a fresh new look to participating in international competitions and projects, we have had quite the ride.

Join us on a short trip down memory lane through some of the moments and milestones that made 2025 unforgettable.

35 Years of Electude

In April, we hit a major milestone: Electude turned 35!

What started as a bold idea by a couple of car-loving students has grown into an international company dedicated to making technical education more hands-on and engaging. We celebrated our journey, our team, and the students and teachers who have been with us every step of the way.

Rebranding: A Fresh Look for Our Anniversary

We also commemorated our 35th anniversary with a new look. Our brand now reflects the innovative, hands-on spirit of our mission and is more aligned with the students and educators we serve.

A Thousand New Modules

In 2025, Electude developed more than 1,000 new modules. That’s almost three new modules every single day.

Our team created:

  • 454 modules for Light Vehicles
  • 193 modules for Heavy Vehicles
  • 376 modules for Systems & Technologies

Every day in 2025, more than 7,000 modules were viewed by students and teachers. And speaking of students, we reached an all-time high of 1,097,806 learners on our platform in December.

EC/DC 2025: Another Successful Competition

In Lower Saxony, Germany, automotive students once again put their diagnostic skills to the test during the Electude Car Diagnosis Competition (EC/DC).

Using the Electude Engine Simulator, participants worked through realistic fault scenarios, demonstrating not only technical knowledge but also systematic problem-solving skills under time pressure.

EuroSkills Herning 2025 Sponsorship

This year, we proudly supported the largest EuroSkills in history as an Event Skills Sponsor. It was incredible to watch highly-qualified young professionals showcase their automotive skills on our Connect – Plug-in Hybrid Training Vehicle and the Electude Engine Management Simulator.

We also contributed to many other WorldSkills events this year, including local and national competitions in Spain, Chile, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In addition, we joined WorldSkills Americas for the first time, sponsoring the event with our engine simulator and Connect trainers.

Other initiatives

In addition to supporting educational events such as WorldSkills, we are proud to continuously contribute to projects that create a better, more sustainable world. In this area, two highlights of our year were hosting an Auto-Cove 2.0 meeting at our headquarters and making a Connect donation to World Projects.

Auto-Cove 2.0

Since 2023, we have been a partner in the Auto-Cove 2.0 consortium, offering our platform and expertise to improve VET education in Europe, support greener innovations, and help close the sustainability skills gap.

In 2025, alongside our ongoing participation in the project, we had the honour of welcoming the Auto-Cove Steering Committee to our headquarters in Nuenen, the Netherlands.

World Projects

We were also delighted to receive a representative of World Projects, an organisation dedicated to education and development in Africa.

We were proud to donate some of our Connect training aids to students in Malawi, providing more resources to learners in need and giving our trainers a second life at the same time.

New Faces at Electude

Finally, 2025 welcomed some amazing new members to some of our teams around the world.

  • In the Netherlands: Bas, Bert, Bram, Cătălina, Davey, Emiel, Felix, Frans, Jill, Kayleigh, Kea, Leslie, Maartje, Patrick, Ralf, Rami, Rob, Vigo

And that’s a wrap of 2025. Thanks to all the students, teachers, partners, and teammates who made this year so special.

In 2026, you can expect even more: additional modules, new plans to teach and inspire, exciting hardware launches… A new, advanced learning plan is on the way, and our training aids are about to get better than ever.
